In the wilds of Gloucestershire, our teams competed to win money for their favourite charities.

This year, our corporate charity day was themed on The Great Outdoors and saw us take a trip out to the Forest of Dean for a day of challenges.

With teams that included the Scouts, Brownies, Girl Guides, Cubs, Rainbows, Sea Cadets and Beavers, Baden-Powell would have been proud!

Tasks included archery, climbing and orienteering, but the main challenge was for each team to solve a puzzle using clues gained during each task.

Back at the Dome Garden eco campsite - cold showers! - teams performed their own songs next to the campfire for the judges. While the scores were tallied, everyone went to their domes, lit their log fires, showered and prepared for the evening meal.

And when the final scores were revealed, it was the Girl Guides who tasted glorious victory, as the Great Outdoors theme carried on into the evening. They won £1500, and shared it equally between Macmillan Cancer Support and The Brain Tumour Charity.

Fantastic fun, and we can’t wait for next year’s challenges!
